ORS recipe

Due to popular request (and because the recipe I copied and pasted from the rehydrate.org site isn’t easily opened by most, evidently) here is the recipe for making packets of Oral Rehydration Solution (ORS):

1/2 teaspoon salt to 6 teaspoons sugar = one small packet for 1 liter of water. You can get little miniature zip-lock bags at Hobby Lobby (or other handicrafts store equivalent).

If one wanted to make packets to mix in a 5 gallon container, just multiply by 20.
