Well, we have accumulated 29 palates worth of donated medical equipment and supplies since our last trip in January 2009. Thanks so much to all who think of us when they have anything that they don’t need anymore. We are equipping and supplying a brand new clinic and a whole new hospital, and can use everything!
We do have a problem getting the supplies to Haiti, though. We need a container to load the palates into, which costs around $1,000, and it takes roughly $1,600 to get it to the east coast where we hope to have help from the US Navy for shipping.
We are open to anyone donating a container or a cash donation to help us get these wonderful life-saving items to the very needy people in Haiti this summer.
